Victron is the best for several reasons, it is open source so you can modify the software yourself making the options limitless. Yes, Victron batteries are worth it. This is also a question I hear from many customers. Firstly, there are many types of Lithium like the following:
Victron Energy's Smart Lithium batteries are rated at 2C. This means that a 200Ah battery can handle 400a. They use high quality Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo4) batteries encased in aluminium pouch cells, which are much higher quality than standard pouch cells. Warranty is also a really important point when it comes to having a problem — you want to be safe in the knowledge that you will be covered.

Victron has many different variations for MPPT's, DC/DC chargers, Shunts, and batteries so the option for systems is almost limitless. Sunsynk is really the new kid on the block and only manufactures systems typically all in one hybrid for ESS, Off-grid, and Commercial applications. Sunsynk is a lower cost option with fewer features. Victron Energy is higher cost but comes with more features and system design capabilities. Both Sunsynk and Victron Energy products are awesome, and both have benefits at specific areas of the markets that they are active in.
