Victron MultiPlus-II 48/15000/200-100 230V: Extreme Power Inverter/Charger (PMP483150000)
The Victron MultiPlus-II 48/15000/200-100 230V is the flagship solution for serious large-scale energy storage systems (ESS), high-demand off-grid power installations, and reliable whole-home backup solutions. This professional-grade inverter/charger (Model: PMP483150000) masterfully combines a powerful pure sine wave inverter, an adaptive smart battery charger, and dynamic PowerAssist technology into a single, high-efficiency unit.
Unrivalled Power, Performance, and Battery Management
Engineered for commercial and large residential applications, the MultiPlus-II 48/15000VA delivers exceptional performance:
- Extreme Power Output: Provides a massive 15,000VA (12,000W continuous at ) of clean, pure sine wave AC power, with a staggering 25,000W peak power capacity to handle high-surge equipment like pumps and air conditioning.
- High-Capacity Smart Charging: Features an ultra-powerful 200-Amp adaptive charger, ensuring fast and effective replenishment of your 48V battery bank. It is perfectly optimized for both Lithium (LiFePO4) and traditional lead-acid battery chemistries, maximizing their lifespan and performance.
- Dual AC Outputs: The unit includes one AC input for connection to the grid, generator, or shore power, and two programmable AC outputs (AC Out 1 for critical loads and AC Out 2 for non-critical loads).
Advanced Grid-Interactive and Protection Features
The core intelligent features guarantee uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and superior grid management:
- PowerAssist Technology: This critical function prevents overloading of a limited AC power source (like a generator or small grid connection) by instantaneously supplementing the required power with energy drawn from the battery, ensuring continuous operation without tripping breakers.
- Seamless UPS Functionality: The MultiPlus-II features an ultra-fast transfer switch (less than 20 milliseconds). In the event of a grid failure or power outage, it switches to battery backup power instantly, protecting critical loads such as servers, medical devices, and security systems.
- Grid-Tie Compatibility: Designed for hybrid energy systems, it integrates seamlessly with solar PV and other renewable energy sources to intelligently optimize self-consumption and minimize utility reliance.
Remote Control and System Assurance
This 48-volt inverter/charger is built for smart energy management and global access:
- Remote Monitoring: Fully compatible with the Victron Cerbo GX communications hub, allowing users to monitor, configure, and troubleshoot their entire system remotely via the powerful, free Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal.
- Reliability Guarantee: Constructed to Victron Energy’s legendary rugged standards for long-term durability. It is backed by an industry-leading 5-year Victron Energy warranty, securing your investment in high-quality power electronics.
