The BSLBATT® 50Ah 48V battery is built with 16 high-quality LiFePO4 cells in series, delivering a nominal voltage of 51.2V. This design offers higher voltage than standard 15-cell batteries, improving system performance and compatibility with powerful inverters.
Why 16 Cell Batteries Are Better Than 15 Cell Lithium Batteries
While both may be marketed as 48V batteries, 16-cell models (16 x 3.2V = 51.2V) provide a true nominal voltage of 51.2V. This higher voltage enables greater inverter efficiency and power delivery, with reduced current for the same output – improving overall system performance and reducing strain on cables and components.
